My name is Allix Cott and I am a writer currently working as a contributor for Harper’s Bazaar and web content producer for Architectural Digest.

I cover various topics ranging from weddings to architecture, and my words can be found on the digital sites for Brides, Martha Stewart WeddingsMyDomain, and Huffington Post.

I am grateful to have built a portfolio covering all things Kardashian, interviewing beauty gurus, documenting personal travel experiences, and utilizing every chance to write about Marilyn.

Before I was living out my dream as a young writer in the Big Apple, I helped to create the Fashion Institute of Technology’s first student-run beauty, fashion, and lifestyle magazine, Blush. It was an experience that helped shape my love of editorial and women’s lifestyle content.

I hold a BS in Advertising and Marketing Communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology, as well as a minor in English.
